Nestucca Anglers liberated our 2025 Fall Chinook smolts August 12th into the Nestucca basin. Even with the hot weather, the volunteers working with ODFW staff, released the fish into the river by 10am. It was a great success, keeping the fish healthy and safe.
Our full production of fish was met and the average size accomplished. Thank you for all the great work and dedication to our feeding volunteers. Thank you also to all the volunteers and ODFW Staff that worked hard in the early morning to make our 26th annual release successful.
